The Kem Road Animal Hospital team of skilled veterinarians welcomes you to our practice. Proudly serving the Marion area. Dr. Na Wu

Dr. Wu joined Kem Road Animal Hospital in 2013. She got her B.S. in Biochemistry from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She got her DVM degree from Purdue University. She loves working as a veterinarian because she can help pets and their families. She loves Kem Road because of the great staff and nice people living in Marion area. She has 2 cats, Miao Mei and Jerry. Dr. Wu came to the States from China with her husband Xinyue Chang for a better veterinary medical education and her dream career. She loves travelling and learning different cultures. She enjoys cooking and trying all kinds of delicious food.


Dr. Margaret Thornburg

Dr. Thornburg has been working at Kem Road Animal Hospital since May of 2015. She attended Purdue University for both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees and was a member of the Purdue band during her time there. Dr. Thornburg loves being a veterinarian because every day is a new adventure and she loves seeing the bonds between her pet patients and their owners. Dr. Thornburg has nine cats, one dog, and a horse of her own! Her pet family keeps her very busy and entertained at home. When she isn’t working or spending time with her furry friends, she enjoys spending time with her human family, reading, baseball, running, horseback riding, and snuggling kittens. A fun fact about Dr. Thornburg is that she is the youngest of 10 kids and can juggle!


Dr. Leonard Jenkins

Dr. Leonard Jenkins has been a part of the Kem Road Family since October of 1977, working for the hospital for 38 years now! He graduated from Purdue University in 1975 and has always loved being a veterinarian for the simple fact that he likes to work with people and their pets. Besides getting to know all of the clients and pet patients, Dr. Jenkins loves working at Kem Road because the team is so great and everyone can have fun while doing their work. At home, Dr. Jenkins lives with his wife, Barb, and his 11 year old Yorshire Terrier named Max. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Jenkins interests include the stock market and listening to Elvis.
